It is very simple to use the Digital Bangla-Abhidhaan
in PC. Try it. Click HERE for a demo version. Save it in a temp file, e.g. C:\Temp\ folder. Go to the C:\Temp folder where you have saved the demo setup file. Cick on the "setup.exe' file. Follow the prompts. It will install the demo file in a second and also create an icon on the desktop.FREE Bangle Alaka font file included in the C:\Programs Files \Bangla-Abhidhaan folder. Install the font file into the Fonts folder in your PC either by Copy-and-Paste or Drag-and-Drop, whichever you like.
Click on the icon on the Desktop that has been created. A window like this appears. Click on the Basic rules to read it. Type a Bangla word in English phonetic, for example, pratik, in the window where cursor is blinking and press enter. You will see the second window (Figure 2). Read simple Rules.
It will come up with the Bangla word that you were looking for, including its pronunciation, English meaning or meanings and grammatical notation. It also sometimes shows a hot link “See also” for more synonyms. Click on it, you see its synonyms.
